When you first meet Xu Dog in Black Myth: Wukong, you might be unnerved by the medicine-obsessed dog’s skittish disposition , but once you get to know more about the character, he calms down a bit. Luckily, Jim Johnson is able to bring the range of this interesting and helpful character to l

With Azure Dust, you can strike enemies using your head in three consecutive smashes , as well as aggressively charge towards targets, similar to that of Wandering Wight in Black Myth: Wukong . The form in which players transform when using this Spell will be familiar to those who have explored Chapter 2, as it resembles the same Rock Guai enemies that roam around these barren la

When transforming into the Worm Guai, you become entirely immune to Poison , so you won’t have to worry about curing Poison in Black Myth: Wukong . Additionally, the Filthy Malice Unique Talent increases your Poison Damage, while you also inflict Poison B

The Yellow Wind Sage’s most frustrating attack during this phase begins with him running at you and performing a quick kick. If you don’t dodge the kick he’ll launch you into the air and begin a lengthy and unavoidable combo attack that will usually drain most of your health , if not all of it. Watch for him dashing at you to perform the kick and get out of the way by any means necessary since this attack is a grab and ignores invincibility effects like Rock Solid and Resolute Counterflow .

It’s no secret that Black Myth: Wukong has been a rousing success since launching earlier this week . According to the data housed at SteamDB, Black Myth: Wukong has achieved a 2.4 million all-time concurrent peak , which is good enough for second all-time on Steam, beating out the likes of Counter-Strike 2 and Cyberpunk 2

Where it becomes slightly tricky to use, is its self-wounding, self-healing mechanic. The Self-Torment ability allows you to wound yourself, which slightly depletes your HP, but at the same time, this imbues your blade with up to four Larv

The Hoarfrost Transformation, while a great option, doesn’t rank too high as its Light Attacks are not so effective. However, its Spell is extremely potent in battle. Its main Transformation Trait allows you to inflict frost bane, a useful elemental damage type, and your hits also increase your Focus, when using your tentacles . As for its Heavy Attack, Tentacle Sweep deals a swinging motion that builds up your Fo

With the Golden Lining Transformation, players can hone Lightning and Thunder abilities , making this one of the most unique Spells in Black Myth: Wukong . Due to the sheer power of these elements, this ranks quite high and will ensure success in almost any boss fight from Chapter 4 onwa

Lai also voices a couple of other characters in Wukong, and he’s also voiced a couple of the playable characters in Eiyuden Chronicles , Zabi and Kurtz. He usually has a more villainous streak, being the horrifying voice of The Hound from The Medi

These are but a few examples of games asking for over a tenth of a 1TB SSD, which should be a lot of storage, but with the way that gaming is going, file sizes are only going to increase . This seems to be a sacrifice needed for the new era of gaming engines and the graphical fidelity that they now come with. Players are getting spoiled with path tracing, high-poly models, and 4K textures, but will have to spend most of the day hogging the internet to download this new era of games, especially if their internet isn’t spectacu

When you’re up close, the Yellow Wind Sage uses several melee combos. His most commonly used combo is a single horizontal swing, followed by a back-and-forth double swing, and then an overhead slam that sends out spikes in a line ahead of him. Much like when he uses the overhead slam after firing a wind blade, you can dodge to the side and counterattack while he recovers from the final slam. Stay mobile and dodge the combo until he performs the slam, giving you the perfect opening to counterattack. He will also perform a two-step attack where he stabs his staff into the ground, then jumps and performs a stomping attack. Dodge as he stabs down and again as he stomps, then get in a few hits if you’re feeling confident.

After being reduced to around 1/3 of his health, the Yellow Wind Sage will start using some more powerful magic. When he stabs his staff into the ground and begins waving his arms, he will conjure a tornado that slowly follows you around the arena, damaging you and throwing you into the air if you come into contact with it. Since it moves slowly you can avoid it by moving away from it as you continue to fight, remaining aware of its position so you can retreat if it gets too close. Naturally, using the Wind Tamer will dispel the tornado, so use it when it’s off cooldown and take advantage of the brief stun to attack the boss.
