Armour is an important component of Baldur’s Gate 3. Specifically, you can outfit your character with headwear often referred to as Helmets that sometimes provide specific protections or abilities alongside boosting stats. Effects range from defensive measures such as protecting the wearer from Critical Hits to offensive postures like gaining a Bonus Action. Whatever the case may be, there are plenty of helmet items to consider in your character build.
Touch a creature to grant it protection against poisonious influences. You neutralise all poisons affecting it, grant it Advantage on Saving Throws against being Poisoned, and grant it Resistance to Poison damage.
Transform yourselfand all nearby party members into tiny clouds of mist to avoid attacks. You become Resistant to non—magical damage, gain Advantage on Constitution, Dexterity and Strength Saving Throws, and become tiny in size.
Besides being a simple light source, it can be used as a mundane means of igniting flammable surfaces if properly set nearby. It can also have the Dip can be used on it as a infinite source of additional fire damage for three rounds, making it very useful for stationary ranged characters wanting extra damage. In Baldur’s Gate 3 the max level you can reach is Level 12, and most classes will have something to choose from at every level-up. Unfortunately, this BG3 Monk build has the fewest number of leveling choices to make. In fact, aside from your Subclass and Feats, Monks don’t really have any leveling choices to make.

For Way of Shadow Monks, stealth is the name of the game, and these two abilities give them more ways to get into position faster without being seen. Some other decent racial options for Monks include the Drow, for Continued their proficiency in Stealth, or the Wood Elf, for their extra movement speed.
After choosing the Criminal or Outlander backgrounds, Monks get two more choices for skill proficiencies. If you choose to go with the Criminal background, Stealth is removed from the list of choices, while Outlanders already have Athletics covered.
Of the 12 classes that will be playable in Baldur’s Gate 3 , only one wasn’t ready for players for the Early Access: the Monk. Monks have a lot of options under their black belts, with three distinct sub-classes to choose from that could equally lead to a fantastic Monk build in BG3 .
