Boss design also feels like it will be a rewarding element of Wuthering Waves . We got to try a few different difficulty levels and while the first one was fairly easy, only requiring a few well-timed dodges to set up brutally efficient combos, the very next difficulty element resulted in a team wipe after an ill-timed party member swap. It’s refreshing to have combat in this genre that feels sufficiently challenging without being completely over-the-top , and early impressions make it feel like Kuro Games has managed to strike that elusive bala
Calcharo is a very dangerous mercenary who defeats his targets with his Electro DMG. Using his Broadblade, Calcharo heavily depends on his Basic and Heavy ATK to deal DMG, especially during his Resonance Liberation. Calcharo’s combos are strong and allow him to continuously deal damage effectively to single or multiple targets at o
While the environment and scenery are visually fairly indistinct from what we saw, they were interesting enough, with materials to gather, enemies to defeat, and puzzles to solve. We played through a brief logic puzzle that was just above the boss fight demo, and it was a Tetris block-style conundrum that was a fun distraction. Obviously, one puzzle isn’t enough to judge an entire game’s worth of open world content so it’s mostly speculation at this point, but based on other closed beta impressions/streams it **looks like the world of Wuthering Waves will have more than enough on offer to keep people interested in its early days
Emerald of Genesis is a great weapon for Danjin because of its high base stats as a 5-star. Additionally, its effect provides Energy Regen so Danjin can use her Resonance Liberation more frequently , as well as an attack buff when using her Resonance Skill, which has 100% uptime due to the skill having no coold
Stable and Experimental Zones are permanent, with their challenges remaining the same, offering one-time rewards for collecting all crests (1800 Asterite in total, among other rewards). Conversely, the Hazard Zone’s rotating phases provide an ongoing challenge with varied enemies, allowing players to earn rewards (Up to 700 Asterite each rotation) repeatedly as long as they can complete the required crests in each rotation. Players will also be able to collect Hazard Records as they progress, allowing them to obtain additional rewarsd including Phantom Skins for Echo’s, Premium Tuner, Credits and m
This makes it important to regulate your resource usage. Even though it might not seem like a big deal to waste some Credits when you have more than 200,000, it catches up pretty fast . Here are a few easy tips to help you with your resource managem
Tower of Adversity is one of the permanent endgame challenges in Wuthering Waves Characters Waves , similar in concept to Genshin Impact ‘s Spiral Abyss. Players can expect to climb the tower’s levels and progress through its stages, but they will likely need significant investment in their characters and Union Levels to earn all the rewards for each stage effectively. This system helps players stay up to date with the current meta and incentivizes them to experiment with new team synergies over t
Make Good Use of Echo System: While getting a perfect 5-star echo with optimal sub-stats might take a long time, players should atleast focus on equipping all their characters with the highest rarity, and of correct sets, while aiming for the suitable main stats, and keep an eye on the Echo Skill. Having the right Echo Skill for a character can help with clearing the content easier, especially if these Echos can dish out massive damage, or provide buffs or benefits for the entire pa
The last thing you’d want is being stuck in an attack animation as the boss in front unleashes a one-shot attack. To prevent this from happening, it’s highly recommended to head over to your character tab and read all five main abilities of the resonator that you’re using . These include their basic attacks, heavy attacks, mid-air attacks, skill, Forte Circuit, Resonance Liberation, Intro skill, and Outro sk
Combat also feels snappy and responsive in Wuthering Waves , with well-made character movement a crucial element of the flow of battle. Dodges felt especially pinpoint and rewarding, and combat also features a parry system where a unit can time their attack to respond to an enemy’s vulnerability indicator during their own lunge – doing so results in damage and a stagger that can set up the next chain of a combo. The hands-on was a little too short to really go in-depth on these systems so it’s difficult to ascertain exactly how the interplay between dodging, parrying, and swapping units really flows, but what was on display felt intuitive and
**Wuthering Waves ** is the latest effort from developer Kuro Games ( Punishing: Gray Raven ). It’s an action RPG gacha title set to release for iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation, and borrows heavily from already popular titles within the same space – most obviously Genshin Impact , which it will inevitably draw numerous comparisons to. That’s certainly not a bad place to start, however, and what Wuthering Waves innovates is more than enough to separate it as a game worth watching as it moves closer to a global release following another round of closed beta te
