Jianxin functions mainly as a shielder and buffer , giving Danjin an easy swap out when things are not going her explanation way. Jianxin’s skill also allows her to perfectly parry every single attack in the game (once), allowing players to handle particularly hard-to-dodge boss attacks with ease. The last innovation in combat is Wuthering Waves ‘ echo system, which is sort of a blend between traditional equipment-based abilities and a creature collecting game. Players can collect the Echoes of enemies they defeat in the game and then equip them to a character (one per unit), which in turn provides stat bonuses and the ability to transform into that echo during a battle to briefly call upon their abilities.
