Given that players will receive three 5-star characters early in the game through free pulls, combined with other freely obtainable 4-star characters, they can cantarella build a useful team around them without needing to spend in the game.

Lingyang: Lingyang is a melee DPS character with a unique playstyle that divides opinions. Like Calcharo and Encore, he deals most of his damage during his Ultimate, which enhances his normal combos. During his Ultimate, Lingyang is in the air, essentially flying, making him a good choice for players that enjoy such a combat style. Nevertheless, while this flying ability is unique, it also presents challenges. Players have limited control over direction and dodging, and issues with hitboxes can cause missed attacks, resulting in potential significant damage loss. Nevertheless, he is quite beginner-friendly and easy to master as far as his combos go, since they are essentially executable with button-mashing. In short, despite Lingyang’s unique playstyle, his lower damage output compared to Encore or Calcharo him less appealing as a main damage dealer. Priority:
While the environment and scenery are visually fairly indistinct from what we saw, they were interesting enough, with materials to gather, enemies to defeat, and puzzles to solve. We played through a brief logic puzzle that was just above the boss fight demo, and it was a Tetris block-style conundrum that was a fun distraction. Obviously, one puzzle isn’t enough to judge an entire game’s worth of open world content so it’s mostly speculation at this point, but based on other closed beta impressions/streams it **looks like the world of Wuthering Waves will have more than enough on offer to keep people interested in its early days

Even during the brief hands-on – and during conversation with the Kuro Games representative present during the hands-on – it became clear that Wuthering Waves has big plans for launch.
