Players will need to reach Union Level 15 and complete A lone in the Abyss Tutorial Quest to unlock access to the Tower of Adversity. As a Tutorial quest, it only involves a few dialogues, and allows access to Tower of Adversity. Once unlocked, it becomes a permanent feature, providing ongoing challenges and rewards. Players can Fast Travel to Tower of Adversity, which is on the east side of Hualong-Central Pla
Balanced Team Compositions: To ensure success in ToA, it’s essential to focus on building a few strong teams with key characters capable of handling different types of challenges. Each team should ideally consist of a DPS character (such as Jiyan, Encore, Calcharo, or Havoc Rover), a suitable Hybrid Support (like Jianxin, Yinlin, or Sanhua), and a Sustain character (such as Verina, Baizhe, or Taoqi). Given that players will receive three 5-star characters early in the game through free pulls, combined with other freely obtainable 4-star characters, they can cantarella build a useful team around them without needing to spend in the game.
For players who are yet to decide who to build, especially for ToA, it’s advisable to prioritize Verina. Her strong healing abilities and party-wide buffs make her an invaluable asset, particularly when combined with a desired DPS character. By focusing on Verina and strategically selecting complementary characters, players can enhance their team’s effectiveness and improve their chances of success in ToA sta
Data Bank Level holds the key to unlocking the full potential of Echo drops, essential for progression and character development. Considering that this doesn’t require sources like Waveplates for the time being, especially for most overworld Echo’s, players should try to track down and collect every Echo in various rarities as much as possible while exploring the world of Wuthering Waves. With a higher Data Bank Level, players will be able to achieve higher rarity and frequency of Echo drops, making their characters even stronger. This also goes hand in hand with not wasting too much resources in Echo levelling early on, as players are recommended to keep these resoueces for higher rarity echo’s with suitable sonatas and st
Lingyang: Lingyang is a melee DPS character with a unique playstyle that divides opinions. Like Calcharo and Encore, he deals most of his damage during his Ultimate, which enhances his normal combos. During his Ultimate, Lingyang is in the air, essentially flying, making him a good choice for players that enjoy such a combat style. Nevertheless, while this flying ability is unique, it also presents challenges. Players have limited control over direction and dodging, and issues with hitboxes can cause missed attacks, resulting in potential significant damage loss. Nevertheless, he is quite beginner-friendly and easy to master as far as his combos go, since they are essentially executable with button-mashing. In short, despite Lingyang’s unique playstyle, his lower damage output compared to Encore or Calcharo him less appealing as a main damage dealer. Priority:
While the environment and scenery are visually fairly indistinct from what we saw, they were interesting enough, with materials to gather, enemies to defeat, and puzzles to solve. We played through a brief logic puzzle that was just above the boss fight demo, and it was a Tetris block-style conundrum that was a fun distraction. Obviously, one puzzle isn’t enough to judge an entire game’s worth of open world content so it’s mostly speculation at this point, but based on other closed beta impressions/streams it **looks like the world of Wuthering Waves will have more than enough on offer to keep people interested in its early days
Zhezhi is one of the strongest off-field DPS in Wuthering Waves . However, damage is not the only thing she does. First, all of her hits are considered Basic Attack, making her easy to build as she simply must focus on Basic Attack

Updated on January 1, 2025, by Nahda Nabiilah : Wuthering Waves is soon entering the 2.0 era, and many 5-star Resonators have been added since the initial release. In total, there are seven new characters who are released after Jiyan, resulting in a total of 15 5-star characters as of WuWa 1.4. Due to the many missing units in the article, this piece has now been updated to include everyone before Rinascita is released in version
Even during the brief hands-on – and during conversation with the Kuro Games representative present during the hands-on – it became clear that Wuthering Waves has big plans for launch. There’s a wide array of content immediately available, and when I asked about post-launch plans, there wasn’t a concrete answer but an obvious indication it’s something that’s already a consideration. There’s also the fact that the team has been so readily willing to listen to player feedback. A lot of the improved elements present in this hands-on and the second closed beta are a direct result of players’ complaints from the first round of testing, with some pretty drastic redesigns already made in respo
