If you don’t have the Wind Tamer , you’ll have to back off until the whirlwind surrounding him fades. It has a very wide AOE, so back away as far as possible.

Watch out for the Ground Burst attack , as you wouldn’t want to get caught in an area where you can’t back off to escape the attack’s range.
This boss fight is unique because there are many pilgrims in the arena. These pilgrims don’t usually attack you unless Elder Jinchi commands them. These pilgrims will then start glowing as they run towards you and explode . However, killing these pilgrims also heals a small portion of your health, making it easy to heal yourself without relying on the gourd.
When you’re up close, the Yellow Wind Sage uses several melee combos.
